Ying Xue (映雪, studbook #955) is a female giant panda born July 12, 2015 at Wolong Hetaoping Base. Daughter of Si Xue and Bai Yang, she underwent two-stage wild training under her mother's guidance. On November 23, 2017, she and Ba Xi (八喜) were simultaneously released into Liziping National Nature Reserve — China's second dual-panda rewilding. In April 2018, radio tracking confirmed her survival in the wild, having traveled over 10 km from her release point, proving that captive-born pandas can successfully adapt to wild conditions.
