Fu Ru (福茹, studbook #1301) was a female giant panda born August 29, 2022 at the Chengdu Research Base — the healthy twin sister of Fu Wan. Described as gentle and well-behaved, she was a member of the Ying Ying family through her mother Fu Lu. In August 2024, she died from multi-organ failure caused by hemorrhagic shock due to a severe GI infection and coagulation disorder, despite intensive care from a multi-hospital team.
