Fu Fu (福福, studbook #532) is a male giant panda born August 25, 2001 at Wolong — twin brother of Xiang Xiang (祥祥), the first rewilded panda. While Xiang Xiang trained for the wild, Fu Fu stayed in captivity as a control subject. He lived at Fuzhou Zoo from 2005 to 2012, then moved to Chengdu Base where he became a breeding male. Known for his large ears, round face, and dominant personality.
