Shin Shin (仙女/Xian Nv), also known by her Japanese name 真真, was born at the Hetaoping Wild Training Base of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Wolong, Sichuan. She is a female twin (alongside Xian Zi, sb599), daughter of Ying Ying (sb382) and Lin Lin (sb455).
