Long Long (隆隆, studbook #878) is a female giant panda born July 31, 2013 at Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park — the first giant panda ever born in South China. Her name was chosen by her mother Mei Qing through a lottery from 10,000+ public submissions. In 2018, she gave birth to Long Zai, becoming South China's first "second-generation" panda mother. She sparked a 2026 controversy over electric pulse fences at Chimelong.
