Qian Qian (Chinese: 芊芊, studbook number 650) is a female giant panda born on September 11, 2006 at the CCRCGP Hetaoping Base in Wolong, Sichuan. Her mother is You You (优优, studbook 474) and her twin sister is Duo Duo (朵朵, studbook 651).
Qian Qian is described as gentle and quiet (文静). She has a notable “偏爱女儿” (preference for daughters) — she diligently raises her female cubs but shows little interest in males, often requiring keepers to step in.
