Tong Tong (彤彤, studbook #586) was a male giant panda born on August 30, 2004 at the Wolong Hetaoping Base. Son of Xi Meng and Long Gu, he was known for a distinctive patch of white fur on his right hind paw. He lived at Shanghai Zoo (2006-2009), Tianjin Zoo (2009-2014), and Zibo Ruyue Lake (2018-2024). He died on June 12, 2024 from gastric pyloric obstruction.
