He Sheng (Chinese: ??), studbook number 1245, is a male giant panda born on July 23, 2013 at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. He is the offspring of Cheng Gong (??, sb522) and Mei Lan (??, sb649) � the twin brother of He Xing (??, sb1244). He tragically passed away in 2016 during wild training when he was attacked by wild animals.
He Sheng was born at Chengdu Base but later transferred to the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda (CCRCGP) for wild training. He was selected for the rewilding program but died during a training exercise in the wild.
