Xue Snow is a female giant panda born on 2023-07-08 at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda. Her international studbook number is 1275, and she is recorded as alive in official giant panda population tracking records. She is the offspring of Tu Lin and Xue Jie, both captive-bred giant pandas housed at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda. Her lineage is documented in the international giant panda studbook maintained by global conservation collaboration networks. Currently living at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda in Wolong, Sichuan, she participates in the center’s captive breeding and socialization program for juvenile giant pandas. The program supports long-term goals for potential reintroduction to protected wild habitats in the Qinling Mountains. As a young captive-bred giant panda, Xue Snow displays typical juvenile foraging and climbing behaviors common to the species.
