Xining Wildlife Park

zoo Xining, China Established 2009

Xining Wildlife Park, located at the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau at 2295m elevation, is the highest-altitude zoo in China to house giant pandas. In June 2019, four giant pandas were transferred from Chengdu Base for public education, marking the species' first permanent presence in Qinghai Province.
