Ting Ting (Chinese name: 婷婷, studbook number 599) is a female giant panda born on July 6, 2005, at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda. She is officially registered as a captive-bred individual in China’s national giant panda tracking system, with parentage genetically verified to sire Pan Pan (studbook number 438) and dam Ying Ying (studbook number 446), both of which were held in the captive population of the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda at the time of her birth. As a descendant of two genetically distinct captive panda lineages, Ting Ting’s birth represented a small but notable contribution to early efforts to expand the genetic diversity of the managed giant panda population in China.

On her first birthday, July 6, 2006, Ting Ting was transferred to Chimelong Safari Park in Guangzhou, where she has resided for the duration of her adult life.
